The above player is playing a YouTube video.
Using S3MediaVault's In-Video Ads feature, you can now show your own Ads or Messages at 3 locations during a video: Pre-roll, Mid-roll and Post-roll.
You can do this on both regular videos, S3/CloudFront videos, and now, also on YouTube videos!
- Start (Pre-roll): Just as the video starts to play.
- Custom (Mid-roll): Anywhere in the middle, at whatever point (in seconds) you choose.
- End (Post-roll): Immediately after the video finishes playing.
You can choose whether the Ad can be closed.
You can make the viewer manually close the ad (clicking "X" close icon in the top-right corner of the ad, or by pressing "Esc" (escape key).
Or you can also set it to Auto-Close after "X" seconds (like the mid-roll ad in the demo above which closes 5 seconds after it is displayed). You can choose how long "X" is.
And you don't have to necessarily show all 3 ads in a single video. You can set up just 1, or 2, or all 3, or of course, none at all.
The In-Video Ad content for the overlay can be pretty much anything: Any HTML content, an image, some text, image and/or text with a link, a regular Video, Audio, iFrame, WordPress Shortcode, and even another YouTube video!
If it is something you can add to a WordPress Page or Post, you can make it an Ad.
